At Cornerstone Construction our Process is already clearly defined. Which means you can be at ease with the construction timeline and how easily it flows towards the project being completed on-time!

We have completed this New Home Construction process many times and we understand our new clients desires. Our entire staff is trained to do everything possible to answer any questions you may have and help you to feel confident about the choices you are making. We do this by having as much of the footwork as possible already taken care of, thus relieving any added stress beyond your already busy schedule.

1. First, you might be surprised at all the different aspect of the design process. We walk you through every step of the way. First we start by listening to you very carefully. This limits the amount of time needed to create the house of your dreams.
2. Our land brokers and agents get started on scouting out for you the perfect location to build your new home based on your size and location specifications.
3. Our innovative design team utilizes CAD (Computer Aided Design) drawing software that drafts to paper your every wish, thus creating the finest of structures, layout of floor plan, size of rooms, functionality, and placement. Including such details as alcoves, built-in closets, lighting, fireplaces, staircases, railing, pillars, elevators, etc.
4. Architectural exterior details are chosen and then matched to the look of your custom home, from colors, stucco, rock, trim colors, types of windows, shutters, front doors, lighting hardware, etc.
5. Once you have selected the land/lot and the plans are complete, the plans are giving to our HVAC, Plumber, Electrician, etc. for sizing and pricing to determine our contract amount to build your house. Plans are also given at this time to the city/county for permit approvals.
6. Once the building permits are obtained the build process commences and a second selection process begins with our professional kitchen and bath design team to go over your generous interior allowance items, cabinets, counter-tops, appliances, plumbing fixtures, light fixtures, flooring (including tub and shower), door hardware, paint colors, textures, home technologies and conveniences, intelligent wireless components, alarm systems, etc.
7. When your custom home has reached the (4-way stage, Plumbing, Electrical, Mechanical and Framing), a city inspection is conducted to verify code compliance. A much greater detailed inspection is already done through our own meticulous build process. Leaving nothing to chance and providing you with a superior quality home. This is also the best time if you have any electrical changes that you would like to be added or changed, before sheet-rock covers the interior walls.
8. Our landscaping architect is brought on-site to gather information to design of your landscape package, which may include waterfalls, pools, ponds, putting greens, tennis/B-ball courts, sprinkler systems, etc.
9. Upon completion of your new custom home a time is scheduled for a "get to know your house" tour. We will familiarize you with the workings of your new custom home, electrical and water emergency shut-offs, appliances, furnaces and air-conditioning units, interior and exterior components, advanced technologies, etc.

We realize that a lot of our clients are out of town during a large portion of the build process. We have created a Private entrance for you to login to, so you may see the construction process unfold. Plus, our project manager will be in constant communication directly with you coordinating everything and will keep you informed throughout the construction process with our detailed communications. Our team approach provides the goal of making the entire process an enjoyable experience for you and your family.
